Job Overview
Berkshire Healthcare has an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Outpatient team based at St Mark Hospital Maidenhead and Foundation House in Windsor. The role is 37.5 hours per week with generous mileage allowance for travel to other sites when required.
Responsibilities
* Act as primary point of contact for MSK patients and visitors attending the department
* Take responsibility for digital referral management and patient bookings
* Manage phone lines and email, providing patient focus at the forefront of the role
* Liaise with other departments and services to support and assist patients as needed, such as interpreting services
* Collect data and statistics to assist management in guiding the service direction
* Work flexibly in response to the needs of patients, service, and physiotherapists
* Support colleagues to deliver a high quality, effective, and compassionate service both virtually and in person
Qualifications
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Good computer skills across Microsoft and database software
* Ability to organise and prioritise workload
* An approachable and helpful persona with the ability to empathise
* Excellent customer service and communication skills, flexible approach, and competent multi‑tasking ability
* Good IT skills and the ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with others
