The Company:
Our client is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant. We are looking for someone who is hardworking and motivated to join the accounting team! The successful applicant will need to be enthusiastic, organised and be able to work at a fast pace. You must be able to work well in a team but also have good initiative to work alone, be able to manage tasks effectively, have good attention to detail.
The Role:
Sales Ledger / Purchase Ledger
Resolve invoice queries
Preparing and check stock costings
Booking stock onto the system
Currency allocations
Daily Cash Posting and Bank Reconciliations
Supplier invoice processing and payments
Support to the financial controller with month end
Assisting with the preparation of the monthly management information
Other duties as required.
Skills Required:
Have a good base of transactional accounting experience – multi currency
Software knowledge – Microsoft Office – Word and Excel
Experience of Sage software preferred but not necessary
Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and manage your own time and tasks.
Someone who seeks improvements in the day to day tasks within the finance department.
