About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Planner at a Senior level through to Senior Associate to join our team permanently. The role will support the planning and delivery of energy and infrastructure projects, advising clients throughout the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
* Manage EIA screening and scoping processes, and prepare Environmental Statements.
* Lead environmental teams, overseeing Environmental Impact Assessments.
* Develop client relationships and support the development of junior team members.
* Contribute to single and multi-disciplinary proposal bids and the financial management of project work.
Qualifications
* Strong environmental planning experience (EIA), preferably with experience working in the energy sector or interest in the sector.
* Either chartered or working towards chartership.
* Broad understanding of environmental issues and disciplines, working knowledge of consenting regimes and development management procedures.
* Experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams, track record of financial management of projects and excellent communication skills.
* Ability to manage and mentor others.
