Senior Administrator
START DATE: ASAP
£16.21 per hour plus holiday accrual
Full time (37 hours, Monday-Friday)
Hybrid working after completion of training (3 days in office, 2 days WFH)
Temporary contract until the end of the year
York City Centre with Free parking on site
We are currently looking for a Senior Administrator join a public-sector organisation in the city centre of York. This role will start on a temporary basis until the end of 2025 with the possibilty to extend.

Holiday entitlement increases to 40.5 days after 12 weeks (32.5 holidays + 8 bank hols)The Role:
Joining a small team of 7 in the York office, you will be:
Answering the phone and dealing with queries
Managing the regional inbox and responding to queries
Running reports and updating spreadsheets
Facilitating meetings and assessment/recruitment days
Supporting onboarding Person Specification:
You will have strong Administration skills
Previous experience within public sector, regulatory or education environments would be ideal for this role although not essential
Any HR duties would be advantageous
Capable of running reports and strong Excel skills
Candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritise and multi-task
