Role Overview
We're looking for a Property & Facilities Co-ordinator to join our friendly team, based out of our Salford Quays office. This is a mobile role supporting the Facilities & Compliance Manager, with regular travel to managed properties (primarily across Greater Manchester). You'll be out and about visiting varied sites rather than stuck at a desk.
You'll be responsible for coordinating reactive maintenance, carrying out weekly inspections, liaising with tenants and contractors, and supporting compliance and credit control tasks. It's a varied, hands-on role ideal for someone who's organised, great with people, and wants to grow within a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist the Facilities & Compliance Manager in day-to-day operations across the managed portfolio
• Respond to reactive maintenance issues and follow up with tenants and contractors until resolved
• Conduct weekly property inspections to monitor cleanliness, maintenance, and tenant satisfaction
• Ensure properties are stocked with essential consumables and supplies
• Maintain clear communication with tenants and provide regular issue updates
• Coordinate contractor visits for scheduled or emergency works
• Support credit control processes by following up on overdue accounts
• Help maintain property compliance records and report any issues
• Support occasional out-of-hours or weekend work (paid overtime)
Essential Requirements
• Office base: Salford Quays
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (mileage expenses reimbursed)
• Comfortable travelling regularly to sites across Greater Manchester and the North West
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Confident using systems to log, track and report tasks
• Willingness to work occasional evenings/weekends when needed (overtime paid)
Desirable Skills & Experience
• Strong organisational and communication skills — able to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities
• Background in commercial property or FM helpdesk roles or a customer-focused operational role(desirable but not essential)
• Basic understanding of property compliance (e.g., fire safety, water hygiene)
• Experience with contractor or service provider management
• Familiarity with CAFM or property management software
• Financial and budget awareness — understanding of how operational decisions impact cost
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
• Comfortable managing reactive tasks alongside planned maintenance priorities
• Experience dealing with a range of stakeholders (tenants, contractors, landlords)
• Ability to resolve unexpected issues calmly, professionally, and with a focus on service
