The RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Timber Frame Designer to join the Crendon Timber Frame team. You will be responsible for producing detailed, accurate designs for our products to meet customer/business requirements. We are looking for an individual with a natural ability to build rapport with customers and technical knowledge and experience in Timber Frame, Posi Joists and Trusses.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing projects from commercial handover stage - liaising with architects, engineers, and clients to prepare each project for handover to our design team.
* Coordinating design information between the various project stakeholders to ensure that all contractual deadlines are achieved.
* Attending pre-start meetings with our commercial team as required.
* Producing Timber frame Design for manufacture including Posi Joists and Trusses.
* Communicating with all relevant internal and external parties as required.
* Overseeing all aspects of the design process to ensure that projects remain within budget.
* Taking a lead in developing the design process and company procedures to maintain continuous improvement.
Skills Required:
* Good understanding of I.T (use of Microsoft Office 365 suite).
* Confident written and verbal communication skills required to liaise with colleagues and customers.
* Experience with Mitek Pamir and Wood engine is required.
* Able to work as part of a small team but have self-motivation to work alone to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
* Passionate about exceeding customer expectations and providing excellent customer service.
