A rewarding opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to provide support to a happy young boy. The main duties will be to engage the child in play activities and take out to local community and social activities. The child will be in 2 : 1 support at all times with another carer who is familiar with the childs needs. Occasional personal care with toileting and must be able to take the child out in his wheelchair. Experience of children who are non verbal and have complex needs is essential and applicants must have own transport with business insurance. This is a part time bank position providing care when the main carer is not available or on leave. Hours can be flexible with an hourly rate of £12.50 plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave pro rata.
