We are currently working in partnership with a Not-for-Profit based in Caerphilly, who are recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant on a temporary 2-3 month initial contract. The position is due to start ASAP, and the hourly rate is £27 per hour Umbrella.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified/part qualified accountant or qualified by experience, with the ability to travel into the office once a week.
·Performing bank reconciliations and overseeing cash management
·Preparing management accounts and MI packs for internal and external stakeholder reporting
·Contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning
·Supporting statutory filings and compliance (VAT, PAYE, HMRC)
·Providing high quality financial data across a range of projects to enable informed decision making
·Completing balance sheet reconciliations, posting journals and making any necessary corrections
·Maintaining the fixed asset register, including recognition of profit/loss on disposals
Experience required:
·Experience in the production of management accounts
·Experience maintaining a large fixed asset register
·Ability to demonstrate excellent business partnering capabilities
