We're looking for a Programme Manager who expects more from their career. It's a chance to extend and improve dunnhumby's Price and Promotions department. It's an opportunity to work with a market-leading business to explore new opportunities for us and influence global retailers.
Joining our team, you'll work with world class and passionate people to own and shape the direction of a significant area of value, whilst operating across multiple domains, defining contexts & boundaries and articulate why behaviour should live in a given context.
Roles and responsibilities:
* Collaborate with client directors, engineering, and product leaders to translate client needs into programme deliverables.
* Develop and manage programme plans for key client initiatives, ensuring alignment with client priorities and deliverables.
* Oversee programme timelines, dependencies, milestones, and governance processes across multiple agile delivery teams, squads, and functions involved in client initiatives.
* Ensure continuous value delivery and client satisfaction by aligning programme efforts with strategic objectives.
* Identify, escalate, and mitigate risks and issues to ensure programme success and client value realisation.
* Manage and coordinate communication with client stakeholders at all levels, providing regular programme status updates, highlighting progress, risks, and key decisions required.
* Oversee programme budgets, expenditures, and financial reporting for client-funded initiatives.
* Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, alignment across engineering, product, and other teams contributing to client initiatives.
* Champion programme management best practices, tools, and processes within the organisation, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance programme delivery and client value.
* Incorporate the OKR into programme management practices, facilitating OKR planning, tracking, and review cycles to ensure alignment with organisational and client goals.
What we expect from you:
* Proven track record in leading complex programmes involving cross-functional teams and external clients.
* Deep understanding of agile methodologies and experience integrating them into programme management frameworks.
* Hands-on experience with agile project management tools like Jira and familiarity with DevOps metrics/tooling (DORA metrics).
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Demonstrated risk mitigation, issue escalation, and decision-making abilities to ensure programme success and client satisfaction.
* Comprehensive knowledge of programme management best practices and continuous process improvement.
* Understanding of OKR methodology and experience in facilitating OKR planning and review cycles
* Strong leadership skills to foster collaboration, drive a customer-centric culture, and uphold organisational values
