McGinley Support Services are looking for an experienced and reliable Civil Supervisor to join our team on a long-term infrastructure project based in Norwich.
What We're Looking For:
* Gold CSCS Card
* SSSTS and EUSR (essential)
* Strong background in structural and civil engineering supervision
* Full UK driving licence and own vehicle (due to location)
Pay & Contract:
* Rate: £22.27 per hour
* Contract Type: PAYE only
* Hours: Full-time, with overtime available
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
As a Civil Supervisor, you will play a vital role in the successful delivery of the project. Duties include:
* Day-to-day supervision of site operations, ensuring safety, productivity, and quality of work
* Coordinating structural works, including reinforced concrete, drainage, and groundworks
* Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations, including carrying out toolbox talks, site inspections, and method statement reviews
* Liaising with site engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to plan and sequence work efficiently
* Monitoring site progress, reporting issues, and ensuring that work is completed to specification and on time
* Managing labour and material resources, ensuring efficient use and minimal wastage
* Maintaining accurate site records, including progress reports, site diaries, and quality checklists
* Supporting the site team with problem-solving, mentoring operatives, and enforcing best practices on site
