Commercial Services Group is expanding its Recruitment division, and with that comes increasing volume and complexity of data. We are now looking for a BI & Data Quality Analyst to help ensure our reporting is accurate, insightful, and drives meaningful business improvements.
This role has evolved beyond traditional reporting. With core dashboards already in place, the focus is now on optimising processes, improving data quality, and generating actionable insights. You will play a key role in analysing data workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and supporting the business to become more data driven.
Working closely with the Recruitment Systems Manager and wider teams, you will act as a bridge between technical data and business operations, helping stakeholders at all levels better understand and use data to inform decisions.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse and improve existing dashboards and reporting outputs to ensure accuracy and usability
* Investigate data inconsistencies, identify root causes, and drive data quality improvements
* Develop and maintain BI dashboards, ensuring best practice design and presentation
* Collaborate with data engineering teams to support and refine data pipelines
* Map and understand data flows across systems to improve integration and efficiency
* Translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations for stakeholders
* Support business teams with reporting needs and promote best practice use of data
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across systems and processes
* Map and document data workflows to build a clear and concise data catalogue
* Be the first line of support for non-technical stakeholders with day-to-day requests relating to data
We are looking for:
* Someone who combines strong analytical thinking with a genuine interest in how data supports business performance
* Preferably a qualification in a technical or analytical discipline or equivalent experience
* Experience working with data, reporting tools, or business intelligence platforms
* Strong Microsoft office skills and familiarity with data tools such as Power BI, SQL, or similar
* The ability to analyse datasets, identify trends, and present clear insights
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain data to non-technical stakeholders
* A proactive, curious mindset with a willingness to learn and improve processes
* Experience within recruitment or working with CRM data would be advantageous but is not essential.
