Senior Geotechnical Engineer (Temporary Works)
I'm working with one of the UK's leading temporary works and geotechnical design consultancies, working across all built environment sectors. Looking to add a Senior Geotechnical Engineer (Temporary Works) to come in and help take this office to new heights with technical excellence and effective decision making. What You'll Be Doing as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer (Temporary Works)
In this role, you'll take on semi-autonomous responsibility for project delivery while having the opportunity to mentor junior team members. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Civil, structural, and geotechnical design tasks with minimal supervision
* Project management and technical delivery within budget and timeline constraints
* Design development from concept through to detailed implementation
* Team leadership and mentoring of junior engineers and technicians
* Client liaison and stakeholder management
* Risk assessment and health & safety compliance (CDM 2015)
Senior Geotechnical Engineer (Temporary Works) Requirements:
* BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering (or structural/geotechnical engineering)
* CEng MICE or MIStructE (or actively working towards within 12 months)
* 5+ years post-graduate experience in relevant engineering disciplines
* CITB Construction Skills Certification Scheme Card
* Full UK driving licence (site visits required)
Desirable Qualifications:
* MEng (Hons) or MSc in engineering
* Dual CEng registration (MICE & MIStructE)
* AutoCAD/Tekla experience
* H&S Training (IOSH/NEBOSH)
