Responsibilities
* Collaborative Category Development: Cultivate strong partnerships with brick & mortar retail partners, fostering trust and open communication. You will understand their business objectives and craft tailored strategies to expand the skincare category, while strategically positioning CPD brands for growth.
* Category Expertise & Insights: Build credibility as an expert in shopper insights and category trends, leveraging data to develop actionable recommendations and drive informed decision-making. Analyze market data, identify growth opportunities, and develop compelling presentations.
* Range Review Management: Lead the range review process, from internal alignment to external presentations. Analyze assortment performance, identify gaps and opportunities, and recommend optimized product ranges tailored to each retailer’s needs and target customers. Track and share results.
* Project Management & Execution: Support development and implementation of impactful category initiatives that enhance the shopper experience and drive sales.
* Shopper Advocacy: Champion the shopper by continuously analysing their behaviour and motivations within the skincare category. Share insights across internal teams to influence marketing strategies, product development, and category planning.
* Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilise sales and shopper data tools (Nielsen Answers, IRI) to analyse performance, track key metrics, and measure the impact of category initiatives. Identify trends, anticipate challenges, and adjust strategies to maximise results.
Who You Are
* Category Management experience: 3+ years in category management insight or customer-facing roles.
* Analytical & Insight-Driven: Strong analytical capabilities; can synthesise data from multiple sources to identify trends and translate insights into action.
* Commercial Acumen: Basic understanding of the retail landscape and skincare market dynamics; able to translate data into actionable strategies.
* Relationship Builder: Excellent communicator with strong presentation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Growth Mindset: Curious and committed to learning and growth within the organisation.
* Proactive & Results-Oriented: Proactive, fast-paced, highly organised and detail-oriented.
* Passion for Category: Enthusiastic about industry trends, innovations, and delivering exceptional shopper experiences.
