About the Role
We're looking for a highly organised and creative Podcast Producer to join our team in Bournemouth. This role is perfect for someone who can take full ownership of the podcast production process — from initial concept development through to publishing and promotion — while working closely with clients and collaborators to ensure every project runs smoothly.
You'll be the driving force behind our client shows: coordinating people, managing timelines, and shaping ideas into content that makes an impact. Video editing skills are a bonus rather than a requirement. What matters most is your ability to manage the process end-to-end, build strong relationships with clients, and bring a creative mindset to every stage of production.
Key Responsibilities
* Own the full production process for multiple client shows — researching subjects, pitching prospective guests, preparing interview questions, scripts, and run sheets, managing recordings, and overseeing post-production.
* Edit and deliver professional-quality audio and video content, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and client expectations, and working with the internal production team.
* Coordinate with hosts, guests, and internal stakeholders to align schedules, manage communications, and ensure everyone is well-prepared for recordings.
* Collaborate with creative partners (designers, copywriters, marketers) to produce and repurpose supporting assets, including show notes, blogs, graphics, social promos, and transcripts.
* Project manage the day-to-day workflow — planning tasks, tracking timelines, managing resources, and ensuring delivery deadlines are met.
* Monitor and report on performance metrics, ensuring content is delivering expected outcomes and client goals.
* Maintain a smooth and efficient production pipeline, troubleshooting issues and solving problems as they arise.
Skills and Responsibilities
* Proven experience producing podcasts or video series end-to-end (please include portfolio examples).
* Strong technical expertise in audio and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Audition, Descript, or similar) a bonus.
* Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
* A creative storyteller with the ability to craft compelling narratives across different formats (show notes, blogs, social snippets).
* Comfortable collaborating with multiple stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.
* Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and consistency.
* Knowledge of podcast distribution platforms, analytics, and best practices is a plus.
What We Offer
* Competitive salary - £29k - £34k DOE.
* Opportunity to shape the future of high-profile client podcasts.
* A creative, supportive, and collaborative working environment.
* Hybrid flexibility — office presence in Bournemouth with scope for remote working.
* Professional development opportunities to grow your skills in audio, video, and content strategy.
