Infrastructure Support Engineer (Previous Relevant Experience is Required), Lincoln
This role at Telent offers an opportunity to join a high-performing engineering team responsible for maintaining the nation's critical infrastructure. The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution aligns with procedures and contractual KPIs. The position involves working in a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.
Responsibilities:
* Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
* Create network incident tickets based on customer reports.
* Action Service Requests.
* Allocate and dispatch tickets to technical support, field engineering, and other service providers.
* Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
* Coordinate traffic management with relevant providers and teams.
* Communicate with customers about network incidents.
* Collaborate with utility companies during power-related network issues.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.
* Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
* Strong communication skills and ability to liaise at all levels of seniority.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
