Key Responsibilities:
1. Work as part of the Facilities Services Team to deliver professional cleaning services across various areas of the hospital.
2. Contribute to maintaining a hygienic and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
3. Ensure all cleaning duties meet the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety at all times.
4. Respect patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times, in line with Trust policies and guidelines.
5. Work collaboratively with a team to ensure the hospital environment is pristine and well-maintained.
6. Take on individual tasks and work unsupervised when necessary, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
7. Demonstrate attention to detail and thoroughness in all cleaning duties, ensuring the highest levels of hygiene and safety.
Infection Control & Compliance:
Adhere strictly to the Trust’s Infection Control Policies and procedures. Conduct yourself in a manner that minimizes the risk of healthcare-associated infections, ensuring that all tasks are carried out in accordance with infection prevention protocols.
Ideal Candidate:
A strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in a healthcare setting. Ability to follow protocols and standards to ensure patient safety and wellbeing. Respect for privacy, dignity, and confidentiality, particularly in the sensitive hospital environment.
Requirements:
* Passion for cleanliness and a commitment to ensuring a safe, comfortable environment.
* Previous hospital experience is not essential but you should be able to demonstrate previous cleaning experience.
* A keen eye for detail and a proactive attitude are essential.
* Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.

Working hours per week: Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) working a combination of early and late shifts across the week. Shifts will be hours per day.
