Anderson Knight is recruiting an Internal Audit Manager based in Glasgow. Working closely with senior leaders, the Internal Audit Manager will produce audit reports, agree actions, and support ongoing control improvements. As the internal audit function grows, they will also oversee resource planning and team development. Salary: £45,000–£55,000 Hours: 35 per week, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm Key Responsibilities: Framework & Planning * Develop and implement an internal audit framework and methodology aligned with regulatory standards, best practice and the client’s strategic objectives. * Create and maintain an audit universe and agree an annual risk-based audit plan with the Executive team. * Identify key business areas and processes to support effective audit coverage. Audit Delivery & Reporting * Deliver the approved audit plan with accuracy and integrity, conducting thorough audits and presenting clear, actionable findings. * Agree recommendations and remedial actions with senior managers to strengthen controls and mitigate risk. * Finalise and issue audit reports following each engagement. Stakeholder Management * Build strong relationships across the client’s organisation, acting as a credible adviser to business units, senior leadership and external stakeholders. * Work collaboratively with senior management to agree findings and ensure actions are implemented. * Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
