Litigation Executive - Catastrophic Injury - Bristol - 5+ Years Experience
Location: Bristol
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (Hybrid working available)
Salary: £55,000 to £65,000
A respected law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Executive with 5+ years relevant litigation experience to join its established Catastrophic Injury team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high value, complex personal injury matters within a collaborative, high performing environment that values quality, efficiency, and client service.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for supporting the investigation and management of complex and catastrophic injury claims, including:
* Assisting on high value EL/PL and motor claims
* Handling sensitive matters, including those attracting national media attention
* Preparing detailed medical chronologies
* Arranging expert appointments and conferences with counsel
* Assisting with disclosure management
* Supporting senior fee earners on large, multi-party cases
* Helping to train and mentor a junior Litigation Associate
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to an experienced litigation professional with:
* 5-6+ years experience in personal injury defence work
* Strong understanding of EL/PL and motor liability claims
* Proven ability to prepare complex medical chronologies
* Experience working on large cases within a team environment
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Confidence liaising with clients, experts, and counsel
* A proactive, motivated approach to case management
