We’re looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our team in Peterborough. This is a high-impact role where you’ll shape financial policy, drive process improvements, and ensure excellence in statutory reporting, taxpliance, and technical accounting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Champion improvements in financial systems, controls, and reporting processes
2. Lead statutory reporting, ensuring accuracy andpliance with all relevant regulations
3. Oversee taxpliance, delivering timely and precise submissions
4. Provide technical accounting expertise to guide the business throughplex financial matters
5. Partner with senior stakeholders to influence financial policy and strategic decision-making
About You
6. CCAB qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, or equivalent)
7. Ideally have experience in aplex, multi-entity environment
8. Strong technical knowledge of statutory reporting and taxpliance
9. Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
10. Confidentmunicator with strong stakeholder management abilities
11. Proactive mindset with the ability to challenge and improve existing processes
