Independent Living Support Worker – Level 1 – 8816 | Permanent Contract | 37 hours per week | £26,403 to £28,142 per annum plus weekend/bank holiday enhancements and sleep in payments | Grade E | Wymondham

Responsibilities
* Support young people to develop positive and effective independent living skills.
* Contribute to making plans to support them and assist with their implementation, attending statutory reviews as required.
* As a positive role model, form effective relationships with young people and their families to ensure emotional and physical needs are met and opportunities for development are maximised.
* Communicate clearly with young people; engage with them; plan and prioritise your workload effectively; eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
* Opportunity to attain Level 3 Children’s Workforce Diploma – fully funded.
Qualifications and experience
* Previous experience of support work.
* Ability to communicate clearly and engage with young people.
* Good organisational skills; ability to plan and prioritise workload.
* Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
* Willingness to work evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins; lone working during weekends and evenings.
