Your role and responsibilities
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Automotive team, selling our solutions to Tier1 global accounts across the UK. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the account strategy focused on share of wallet growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. You will develop, plan, and execute your own customer strategy based on local/global strategies to ensure high customer satisfaction and growth, aligning with the ABB Business Line Automotive sales strategy. This role is home-based and reports into the UK & Ireland organization. You will secure profitable sales within your designated area(s), supporting robot product sales and standard solutions, both locally designed and regional solutions.
You will build long-term customer relationships, respond promptly to customer requirements, and negotiate on specifications and pricing to maximize margins. You will prepare quotes, update the CRM (SalesForce), and participate in developing sales strategies for your accounts. You will define and meet sales targets, understand customer needs, monitor financial status, and manage risks related to contracts and pricing. Your targets will include personal, team, and behavioral goals aligned with the ABB 4Cs—Collaboration, Curiosity, Courage, and Care.
Engagement with customers and strategic partners is essential, maintaining the highest level of customer experience as part of the ABB QCE program. You will ensure integrity and compliance with ABB values and ethics in all activities.
Qualifications for the role

* 3+ years of experience in a sales role
* Proven track record in sales
* Excellent communication skills
* Current UK driving license
* This is a home-based role
