Job Description
The Accounts Assistant role is initially a temporary, full-time, office-based position reporting to the Finance Manager. Key duties include:
1. Prepare and post daily banking transactions.
2. Prepare and post group bank statements.
3. Check and process finance settlements.
4. Maintain cash account housekeeping and assist with debtor meetings.
5. Process refunds and CHAPS payments.
6. Handle all internal and external customer and supplier interactions courteously.
7. Be prepared to accept additional responsibilities as required to meet changing circumstances and standards.
8. Ensure adherence to all company financial controls.
9. Assist the Finance Hub leadership team, particularly at month-end.
The Successful Applicant
To qualify, you should:
* Ideally have experience in Sales Ledger/Accounts Receivable or Bank Reconciliation.
* Be willing to consider a temporary role for 12 months.
* Be able to commute to the Stockport office.
