Job Description
New Directions Education is seeking passionate and proactive Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to join our supply team, working in primary schools across Rhondda Cynon Taf.
As a key member of the classroom team, you’ll support teachers, lead learning sessions, and help pupils achieve their potential across a variety of subjects and settings. Whether you’re looking for full-time work, a few days a week, or short-term placements, we offer flexible assignments that fit your lifestyle.
Requirements:
HLTA qualification or equivalent Level 4 teaching assistant certificate
Recent classroom experience (paid or voluntary)
Strong communication and organisational skills
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one through New Directions)
The ability to adapt to different settings and support students with diverse needs
