Interim Management Accountant | Hybrid /Manchester | Housing Sector | Interim Contract
We are supporting a reputable housing organisation to appoint an Interim Management Accountant to support their finance team during a busy period. This is a hands-on role working closely with budget holders across key service areas, delivering accurate and insightful financial information.
Key Responsibilities
Produce monthly management accounts across multiple cost centres
Prepare and post accruals and prepayments
Review financial performance and variances with budget holders
Support the delivery of full-year forecasts and financial planning
Provide clear and concise commentary for the Statement of Comprehensive Income
Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Support VAT preparation
About You
Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
Proven experience within the housing sector (ideally)
Strong management accounting background with the ability to work independently
Confident communicator with experience working with non-finance stakeholders
Advanced Excel skills
