Technical Trainer - Remote

Alecto Recruitment is working with a well-established energy and power generation company who are seeking a Technical Trainer to support the development and upskilling of operational teams across the business.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks
* Deliver and develop technical training across mechanical, electrical, and operational disciplines.
* Assess staff competency, provide mentoring, and support continuous skills development.
* Conduct site audits to ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards.
* Induct and train new employees to a level where they can work independently.
* Identify training needs and coordinate internal and external training programmes.
* Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with company and legislative requirements.
* Support operational teams with fault finding, troubleshooting, and technical guidance.
* Review and improve training materials, systems, and HSQE processes.
* Work with management to define operational standards and improve team performance.
* Contribute to development of technical documentation and training resources.
Skills & Requirements
* Strong technical background in power generation, mechanical and electrical systems.
* Experience in training, mentoring, or coaching.
* Recognised engineering qualification (mechanical or electrical).
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and Health & Safety (IOSH/NEBOSH desirable).
* Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
* IT literate with experience using MS Office and digital training tools.
* Full UK driving licence required.
