An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant to work for a highly successful charity. Your duties will be as follows: Preparation of monthly management accounts Assisting in the preparation of statutory accounts Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and liaising with managers Dealing with VAT returns Maintaining fixed asset register Reconciliation of key control accounts and inter-company accounts Assisting in the development and implementation of finance and operational policies Assisting with the monthly payroll process, liaising with HR and other departments You will be part qualified or qualified by experience. Strong IT skills, particularly Excel are essential and Sage and Xero experience would be an advantage. Housing experience would be beneficial but not essential.
