Overview

16.5 hours per week (Term Time). Must be available 9am – 4.30pm.

We wish to appoint inspiring Additional Support Assistants to help learners with additional learning needs to access the curriculum at Coleg Gwent. Applicants should have previous experience of working with young people who have difficulties and/or disabilities and be educated to Level 2 standard with four GCSEs including Maths and English at grade C or above.


Responsibilities

* Support learners on a 1:1 basis, including providing personal care when needed.
* Work with learners on a group basis, collaborating with the curriculum and campus support teams to help learners meet their full potential.
