Orka Financial is working with an established business in Reading, that is looking to hire an experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to support a small, well-established finance team. This is a flexible role, ideal for someone seeking work-life balance while contributing their expertise to a growing organisation. (20 hours) Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate day-to-day bookkeeping using Xero Manage accounts payable and receivable Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Process purchase and sales invoices Support VAT returns and ensure compliance with HMRC deadlines Assist with month-end processes and reporting Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Provide ad-hoc support to the wider finance team as required Skills & Experience Proven experience in a bookkeeping role Strong working knowledge of Xero (essential) Good understanding of VAT and basic accounting principles High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach What’s on OfferFlexible part-time hours to suit individual availability Supportive and friendly finance team Opportunity to work with an established and stable business Please contact alison@orkafinancial.com or call 07708 912000 to arrange a potential interview!
