Main Duties
• Loading/unloading products from order/pick list
• Deliver, assemble and install furnishings as per housing specification.
• Report any inaccuracies or mistakes to inform and improve service.
• Clean and tidy work area as you go.
• Carry out safety checks on delivery vehicle daily as required.
• Ensure vehicle is clean.
• Report any mechanical problems with vehicles.
• Present shipping documents and retain delivery notes and signatures as required. Report delays, accidents or other traffic and transportation situations that impact our service.
• Maintain accurate tachograph, maintenance, fuel purchase and other documentation as required.
• Operate designated vehicle in a safe and courteous manner.
• Complete timesheets and tachographs as required.
• Liaise effectively and courteously with colleagues, managers, clients and end users.
Person Specification - Essential
• Full driving licence including LGV with no more than 3 points.
• Verifiable DBS Check.
• Capability to work-away from home up to 3 nights a week (occasional).
• Physically fit, able to lift up to 25kg.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive and professional attitude.
• Effective time management and prioritising qualities.
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Ability to easily build rapport with colleagues and customers.

• B1 FLT Licence
• First Aid at Work qualification
