The Role As Materials Buyer, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of materials across multiple residential developments, ensuring projects are supplied efficiently, on time, and within budget. You will work closely with commercial, site, and technical teams, playing a key role in maintaining cost control and supporting the successful delivery of projects. As Materials Buyer, you will be responsible for: Procuring construction materials in line with build programmes Obtaining and analysing supplier quotations to secure best value Placing and managing purchase orders Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships Monitoring material costs and identifying savings opportunities Coordinating with site teams to ensure timely delivery of materials Resolving any supply or quality issues Maintaining accurate procurement records and cost data Supporting the wider commerci...
