As a Head Housekeeper at HC-One, you will support residents in our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes by ensuring homes are safe, clean, and comfortable.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing the cleaning rota and daily schedules
* Leading by example and supporting your team
* Overseeing laundry for personal and shared items
* Ordering cleaning products and supplies
* Following and updating infection control procedures
* Keeping records and completing cleaning checks
* Ensuring safety and COSHH guidelines are met
Qualifications
* Housekeeping experience and team leadership skills
* Organised with awareness of Health & Safety and infection control
* Friendly, positive, and kind in every conversation and task
Safeguarding
Recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if there are concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and undertake additional training in associated areas. You also have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including if action is not taken.
