Primary Role
* Own and manage the customer relationship
* Ensure you and your team always operate in line with GSCOP and Competition Law and our Brand Owner Contracts with your customer
* Build and deliver a JBP and Trading Plan that delivers against the budgeted AAF P&L and the customers objectives including:
o JBP management
o Promotional planning in line with guidelines
o NPD listings and management
o Marketing plans
* Ensure all internal and external account admin is carried out in full, accurately and on time including:
o Templates and plans
o Financial analysis and reporting including Trade Process
o NPD setup
o Performance analysis
o Promotional proposals, analysis and reporting
o Volume forecasting through S&OP process
o New Line Forms
o Manage and execute the annual budgeting and business planning process for your customer(s) with your Finance Business Partner
* Manage the strategic and operational relationship with relevant internal and external key stakeholders including:
o Retailer
o Brand Team
o Category Management
o Product Development
o Procurement
o Supply Chain
o Finance Business Partner
* Demonstrate a consultative selling approach through knowledge of category, shopper and consumer utilising the communication skills training provided. This includes:
o Range reviews
o Brand Days
* Ensure the business is always professionally represented, both inside and outside the business, and ensure legal compliance
* Constantly review process and procedure within the role and make recommendations for improvement
* Be an active and vocal member of the Sales team and ensure your team is too
Requirements
* Has FMCG, retail and consumer experience through a Commercial function role
* Has excellent communication and influencing skills combined with strong leadership skills
* Is a strong team player but is prepared to be the lone voice
* Is determined to achieve and has a willingness to continually learn
* Has a proven record of demonstrating initiative and delivering results
* Has high levels of resilience and robustness
* Is analytical and detail orientated
* Is curious and willing to challenge the status quo
* Be an active and vocal member of the team
* Continuously learn and develop skills, knowledge and experience to fulfil the short and long term objectives of the business
