Are you an experienced forklift driver with a knack for leadership? At Mr Apple, we’re looking for a skilled professional to join our team as a Forklift Supervisor. This is a fixed-term role until the end of August 2026, with the potential to become permanent for the right person. You’ll be working day shift hours, 6 days a week, leading a team and ensuring smooth operations during one of the busiest seasons in horticulture. What you'll be doing As a Forklift Supervisor, you’ll work alongside the Operations Team Leader to keep everything moving smoothly. Your role is all about coordination and leadership – making sure resources are used effectively and workflows run like clockwork. Day-to-day you will: Oversee forklift operations and ensure safe, efficient handling of fruit. Manage fruit flows, treatments, and storage to maintain quality standards. Coordinate timely dispatch to end-user sites, supporting just-in-time inventory management. Monitor team performance, provide guidance, and maintain strong health and safety practices. Communicate clearly with drivers, forklift operators, and other team members to keep operations on track. This is a hands-on leadership role where your decisions directly impact productivity and quality.
