Their product range has a strong focus on innovation, performance and customer service Working within an established team you will play a pivotal role in covering the Midlands area carrying out Installations servicing, maintenance and repair work on our client's large portfolio of CNC Machines. The ideal candidate will have a background in the machine tooling industry. What's involved for the CNC Field Service Engineer… Installation, maintenance, and repair of 3- and 5-axis machining centres Installation, maintenance, and repair of 2-, 3-, 4-, and 5-axis lathes Fitting and configuration of machine tool options such as Renishaw probing systems, rotary tables, and through-spindle coolant systems Provide technical support for automation systems Work independently or collaboratively with other engineers as required Maintain professional communication and working relationships with customers Submit detailed service reports and upload daily work records to the central database Maintain service vehicle stock and company-provided tools Travel regularly throughout the UK and Southern Ireland may be required What you'll need… Prior experience in the machine tool industry preferred Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills Willingness to travel and stay overnight as required (minimal) Able to work independently and represent the company professionally on customer sites Full clean UK driving licence Benefits for the CNC Field Service Engineer… Competitive salary (dependent on experience) Overtime paid door-to-door Choice of company car or van Fully expensed role - tools, test equipment, laptop, and mobile phone provided Comprehensive training and ongoing development opportunities Private Medical Life Assurance Pension Scheme This is a Full time, permanent CNC Field Service Engineer role, working Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week Should you be interested in this position then please apply within.
