Were looking for a Kitchen Manager to lead a small team of 2 chefs in our recently opened BBQ and burger pub kitchen in Homerton. This is a great opportunity for a Junior Sous Chef ready to step up into a management role and take ownership of kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily running of the kitchen and ensure smooth service
Manage kitchen schedules and staff rotas
Take responsibility for ordering, deliveries, and stock control
Maintain accurate records and manage GP targets
Ensure all dishes are prepared to consistent quality and presentation standards
Uphold excellent food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness at all times
Support, train, and motivate the kitchen team
About You
Previous experience as a Junior Sous Chef or experienced Chef de Partie
Confident in managing stock, ordering, and kitchen organisation
Passionate about BBQ food, burgers, and pub dining
Strong communication and leadership skills
Good understanding of food safety, allergens, and compliance
