We are seeking an electrical professional eager to be trained as an 'Engineering Surveyor' in Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC). These professionals ensure safety and compliance, making them vital in the industry.
This is a chance to join a world-leading organization, winner of the 'Top UK Employer' for nine consecutive years, which will invest up to £50k in your development within the first few months. The career potential is significant, with the possibility to earn over £50k with overtime and allowances, plus benefits like pension, holiday, bonus, and top-tier training.
It's all about you:
We're open to candidates with the right attitude and some testing & inspection experience. You don't need prior experience as an Engineering Surveyor, as training will be provided. Essential qualifications include a full electrical apprenticeship or Level 3, 2391, 18th Edition, and ideally a HNC or higher. We value personalities eager to learn and progress, with opportunities to gain additional certifications such as ATEX & COMPEX, and ultimately achieve chartered status through the IET.
The role itself:
After training, you'll test and inspect electrical equipment in various service environments, ensuring proper operation. The work spans multiple sectors, including manufacturing, quarries, power plants, marine, agriculture, and airports, primarily focusing on industrial, commercial, and heavy industrial sites. As you gain experience and qualifications, you'll handle more complex sites, with salary increases reflecting your development.
