We are looking for a caring and reliable Early Years Assistant to support our nursery team during lunchtime. You will help create a safe, calm and positive environment where children can enjoy their meals and social time.
Hours, Salary & Benefits:
Hours available 11am - 3pm Mon - Fri, year round
Contract type: 0 hour, fixed term contract
Salary: £12.71 - £13.25 per hour

Responsibilities
6. Support children during lunchtime, encouraging good eating habits and independence
7. Supervise and ensure children’s safety at all times
8. Help with setting up and clearing away lunch areas
9. Assist with children’s personal care needs, including toileting where required
10. Promote positive behaviour and social interaction
11. Maintain a clean and hygienic environment in line with nursery policies
12. Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and food hygiene procedures at all times
Skills
13. Experience working with young children (0–5 years) desirable
14. A Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification is beneficial but not essential
15. Caring, patient and approachable manner
16. Good communication skills
17. Ability to work well as part of a team
