We are a group of companies working in the legal, accident management and healthcare sectors, currently looking for Up to 3.5 ton Drivers to join us.
As a Level 2 Driver, you will be working for Kindertons Accident Management.
Hours: 42.5 weekly
Kindertons Accident Management, part of ExamworksUK, is looking for a 3.5 Ton Transporter Driver to join our busy depot. As a driver, you will be responsible for the safe delivery and smooth collection of fleet vehicles.
Each shift, you will check into our depot and be given your daily tasks. Using an allocated 3.5-ton transporter, you will make deliveries and collections of fleet vehicles and customer vehicles to addresses across your depot area. These deliveries could vary from customer addresses, places of work, or to our repair network.
Duties will include:
* Assisting in preparing hire fleet vehicles to a high standard for delivery to customers, adhering to relevant procedures, and completing all required documents.
* Ensuring that vehicles needed for the following day's deliveries are accounted for and prepared.
* Keeping the depot parking area organized, with vehicles allocated to different areas as directed by depot management.
* Preparing the yard for easy access for collection of vehicles by salvage agents or other Kindertons employees when appropriate.
* Assisting depot administrators with damaged fleet vehicles by photographing them, obtaining estimates, and coordinating with the designated fleet repairer.
* Assisting in deliveries, collections, or vehicle swaps as required by depot management.
* Working as part of a team, attending meetings, and contributing where appropriate.
* Performing any other duties reasonably requested by the line manager.
Working hours are on an average basis. The starting salary includes a paid half-hour break each day. We offer 30 days of holidays, and if you work on a Bank Holiday, you will be paid at time and a quarter – an extra 25% pay! Overtime above your standard hours is paid at time and a half – 50% extra pay!
Requirements:
You must have held your license for 2 years or more, have no more than 6 points, and be confident driving both manual and automatic vehicles.
