Job Description
As a Head of Finance & Controlling UK, you will play a pivotal role in the finance team, supporting operational and strategic financial management across the business. You’ll work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and will have the opportunity to influence key financial decisions and be supported by the regional head of controlling.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation and ownership of monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
* Assisting with budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to support decision-making.
* Supporting cashflow management and providing recommendations to senior management.
* Preparation of year-end audit files and liaison with external auditors.
* Development of financial models and reporting tools to drive business performance.
* Supporting and mentoring finance team members.
* Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
Qualifications
Key Skills & Experience:
* Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA)
* Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Confident communicator, able to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
* Proactive and able to manage competing priorities independently.
* Experience using SAP, construction, manufacturing, or project-based finance is desirable but not essential.
This is a fast-growing company, and the candidate needs to be willing to contribute across a range of issues both inside and outside of finance.
The successful candidate will have experience managing P&L& balance sheet and adhere to controls that ensure accurate monthly reporting of the financial statements.
