What You’ll Be Doing

Your Skills And Experiences
* Proven experience in a security or comparable role
* Diligence and attention to detail
* Experience of working in a heavily regulated industry
* Recognised security qualification from a reputable body
* Experience of UK Government Classifications and security standards (Desirable)

The Defence Solutions Security Team
The Defence Solutions security team contribute to security of UK, making a real difference for our UK defence, by helping those who serve and protect us.
As the Security Advisor, you will advise and support project staff on the proper implementation of security controls, make recommendations on how to mitigate identified security weaknesses, and serve as the project’s single point of contact for all security issues, providing first-line assurance for all security activities and technology.

Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks.
