Turner Lovell is seeking an experienced Environmental Advisor (Site-based) to support a key client delivering large-scale renewable and grid infrastructure works in Scotland. This role offers the chance to directly contribute to vital energy developments supporting the UK's net zero goals.
We're looking for a proactive environmental professional with in-depth knowledge of UK and Scottish legislation and hands-on experience working on construction or energy infrastructure sites. You'll be embedded on site and act as a main point of contact for environmental compliance, reporting directly to the Environmental Manager and coordinating across internal and external teams.
Key Duties:
1. Carry out environmental inspections, site audits, and daily compliance checks
2. Support regulatory compliance including DCO obligations, water and pollution control, and COSHH
3. Coordinate environmental monitoring and reporting activities
4. Assist in the development and implementation of environmental management plans
5. Ensure adherence to environmental legislation and best practices
