Legal Secretary – Bradford
This role will involve providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to fee earners.
Experience in family law would be advantageous, but candidates with solid legal secretarial experience in other areas will also be considered.
Responsibilities
* Typing (audio and copy) general correspondence, including memos, letters and legal documents
* Preparing documents requiring knowledge of legal terminology and formats, such as contracts, briefs, policies, pleadings, complaints and court documents
* Carrying out reception duties and acting as a professional first point of contact
* Using a Case Management System (experience with TIKIT P4W is desirable)
* Filing all incoming and outgoing correspondence and maintaining accurate administrative systems
* Arranging teleconferences with clients, law firms and other stakeholders
* Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions and cash movements
* Supporting colleagues and contributing to a collaborative team environment
* Assisting with general administrative duties as required
Requirements
* GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English (Grade C or above)
* RSA II (or equivalent)
* Typing speed of at least 60 wpm
* Fluent English
