Project Manager – Retail Fit-Out (Shopfitting) Location: London (office-based) with nationwide UK travel Reporting to: Delivery Director About the Company An established and highly regarded retail fit-out contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver fast-track shopfitting projects for premium retail brands across the UK. Known for quality, pace, and consistency, the business offers a strong project pipeline and long-term stability. This is a hands-on, client-facing role with full responsibility for projects from initial survey through to handover and commercial close-out. About the Role You will take full ownership of retail fit-out projects, managing all aspects of delivery to ensure programmes, budgets, and quality standards are met. Key responsibilities include: * Managing retail fit-out projects from pre-construction through to completion * Acting as the main point of contact for clients during delivery * Leading design coordination, subcontractor procurement, and programme planning * Maintaining full control of site safety, quality, programme, and cost * Managing variations, risk, and overall commercial performance * Coordinating site teams and subcontractors to achieve snag-free delivery * Overseeing handover, O&M manuals, as-built drawings, and defects management Requirements Personal Attributes: * Strong ownership mindset * Calm and effective under pressure * Highly organised with strong attention to detail * Commercially aware and quality-driven Experience & Skills: * Proven experience as a Project Manager within retail fit-out / shopfitting * Strong technical and trade knowledge * Experience delivering fast-track, multi-site retail projects * Confident and professional client-facing communication skills * Strong commercial awareness and programme control Rewards & Benefits * Competitive salary * Consistent and secure project pipeline * Exposure to premium retail brands * All accommodation paid * All travel expenses covered
