Strategic Lead for Highway Maintenance & Operation
As Chief Lead, you will manage a multidisciplinary team covering street lighting, drainage, structures, flood risk, etc., ensuring highways are maintained to the highest standards, championing safety, innovation, and value for money.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead a team of engineers and technical experts to deliver core highway services.
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders and partners to unlock funding and drive innovation.
* Oversee complex maintenance programmes and ensure compliance with legislation and best practice.
* Champion a place-based approach that reflects the needs and aspirations of our communities.
Strategic Lead for Traffic and Transport
As Chief Lead, you will oversee traffic management, road safety, street works, and sustainable transport initiatives, aligning them with local and regional priorities.
