A primary school in Hyde is seeking a committed EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated SEN team this September. The role involves supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage with a broad range of needs including Autism, SEMH, communication difficulties, and sensory processing issues. Some children may also present with behavioural challenges and require assistance with personal care.
Key Responsibilities:

Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils in the EYFS SEN provision

Assisting with learning activities tailored to individual needs and EHCP targets

Supporting emotional regulation and de-escalating behaviours where necessary

Helping with personal care tasks including toileting and hygiene

What We're Looking For:

Experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in an EYFS setting

Confident managing challenging behaviour in a calm and consistent manner

Comfortable with delivering personal care when required
