Stannah is looking to recruit ambitious Apprentice Escalator Engineers for our Brackley Branch and join our Maintenance and Repair division.
You will cover a route across Luton and surrounding area, working 4 on 4 off ( 7am till 7pm).
This is a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn and continue your education. You will receive a starting salary of £17,, with regular reviews based on performance. Apprentice Escalator Engineer The Role:
1. Shadow qualified Engineers assisting with the servicing and repair of escalators
2. Attend distance learning courses and complete coursework to a high standard and on time
3. Take part in training and mentoring sessions, both online and in person
4. Participate in at least 20% off-the-job training
5. Demonstrate the drive, aptitude, and behaviours of a future Stannah Escalator Engineer
Apprentice Escalator Engineer Training and Development:
6. Duration: 40 months
7. A mix of hands-on experience, mentoring, and structured learning at our training centre
8. You will achieve a recognised qualification in Escalator Engineering
Apprentice Escalator Engineer Requirements:
9. GCSE Grade 4 - 9 (A-C) in Maths and English
10. A genuine interest in engineering or hands-on experience in a related role
11. A valid driving licence or currently learning to drive
