Within our Capital Design and Delivery department, we are looking for a Project Manager to join the Water EICA team.

Working within a delivery team, the Project Manager will be accountable for delivering EICA (Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation) projects focused on improving the assets across the Severn Trent estate. Within this role the Project Manager will take responsibility for the delivery, commissioning, and handover of projects.
The Project Manager will be required to:-
1. Lead the delivery of multiple EICA projects, across multiple different sites at any one time.
2. Produce and provide regular updates on project progress to the Lead Project Manager and key internal stakeholders.
3. Manage project finances, including monitoring spend against approved budgets, as well as updating and reporting forecast spend plans
4. Have knowledge of the CDM regulations and ensure all requirements are fulfilled on projects.
5. Ensure site inspections, audits and quality checks are undertaken appropriately on projects.
6. Coordinate with all key stakeholders to ensure full commissioning and testing is completed in a timely manner, and witness testing on behalf of the Client, where required.
7. Develop and manage strong working relationships with Contractors to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
8. Build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders to agree solutions, designs, and any changes, and also support the coordination of site activities on live operational sites
9. Undertake contract management and administration activity associated with the projects, this will include fulfilling the role of Project Manager (or equivalent, depending on type of Contract) on behalf of the Client.
10. Work collaboratively and support the team with delivery of the wider EICA investment programme. This may include overseeing the delivery of small works by other team members, directing their activity, and coordinating their reports on project progress.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
The successful candidate will ideally have experience in working within or leading on EICA projects in the utilities sector or similar, and you'll ideally have some experience working with contracts. However, this is not essential.
The role is an all-rounded Project Manager, however there will be a big focus on managing varying contracts and negotiations that are involved through the process.
