Your Role
You’ll have responsibility for end-to-end sourcing activity along with setting the category strategy. You'll also influence and partner your category stakeholders to help deliver our cost transformation activity, and help ensure a best in class cost base.

Your Role
1. Manage end-to-end sourcing activities and develop Software category strategies.
2. Influence and collaborate with stakeholders to support transformation initiatives and maintain a competitive cost base.
3. Lead on major business investments and executive priorities within the function.
4. Contribute to our cost and cash programme, leveraging data and analytics in the Centre of Excellence.
5. Drive the procurement transformation, setting new standards and defining the procurement technology roadmap

6. Proven experience in Technology Procurement/Category Management.
7. Open to individuals seeking to switch categories or with detailed knowledge of their current category market.
8. Skilled in crafting and managing complex contracts.
9. Adept at balancing and anticipating the needs of various stakeholders.
10. Experience in influencing senior levels within a large organisation.
11. Agile and adaptable to support business needs in a dynamic transformation environment.
12. Experience in Software Procurement / Cloud would be desirable.
We would require this role to be based in our Asda House office, Leeds for at least 3 days a week for this position.
