Are you a Development Application Engineer who would enjoy supporting customer applications, solving problems and developing methods to demonstrate the capability of our pioneering Rapid Probe Microscope (RPM) at its best. This role will suit someone with Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) experience who wants to progress in a cutting edge, high calibre team with cutting edge technology.
Reward and Benefits
* £45,000 to £55,000 (depending on experience)

About the role
A typical day for a Development Application Engineer could look like this:
* Using cutting‑edge innovations to deliver new and meaningful functional capabilities.
* Developing and enhancing data collection within the measurement system to boost accuracy and insight.
* Collaborating with internal stakeholders to create fresh techniques for measuring samples.
* Liaising across teams to advise on improvements to both software and hardware systems.
Who we are looking for
To succeed as a Development Application Engineer, we do need you to have experience of:
* Prior experience of Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM)
* Occasional international travel required
* Prior hands on experience with technical development of ideally complex instrumentation
Education / Qualifications
Either a degree or masters in Physical Sciences or similar, or a clear equivalent path through relevant apprenticeship or accumulated experience.
