Initial teacher training (ITT) at Plymouth Marjon University has a considerable history, stretching back over 180 years.

Essential Criteria
* Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Holds a Masters degree or has equivalent professional experience
* Recent school experience teaching the national curriculum (England)
* Specialism in secondary humanities
* Track record of keeping up to date with evidence-informed practice
* Experience supporting trainee teachers and/or early career teachers
Desirable Criteria
* Experience contributing to the delivery of ITT secondary QTS provision
* Experience of ITT curriculum and programme design
* Doctorate or current enrolment in a doctoral degree program
